If you are ordering raw silver products (sheet, wire, tube, rod, or discs), please note that the actual price charged to you will be calculated as of the day your order is received by the Mail Order Dept. If you are paying by check, please remember to sign and enclose your check with the order form. If you are paying by credit card, please write your credit card number and expiration date in the space provided and sign on the line below.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Metalliferous ships most orders via USPS or UPS. UPS will not ship to a post office box. UPS will only deliver to a street address. Make sure that someone is available at the "SHIP TO" address to receive your package. Please allow 2 to 12 business days for UPS ground shipments depending on location). All orders are F.O.B. shipping point (East Orange, NJ) unless otherwise specified. Shipping and handling charges will be added to and will appear on the invoice. Orders will be shipped freight pre-paid and the freight charge will appear on the invoice. Orders shipped overseas are best shipped via FEDEX. Where necessary, additional shipping charges may apply. For packages valued at $100.00 or more, we will require a signature at time of delivery.
Metalliferous accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, personal checks, business checks, money orders, and certified checks. Please remember to note the method of payment on the order form.
Checks returned by the bank are subject to a $20.00 charge.
If requested, Metalliferous can provide faster delivery service via USPS Express, UPS Next Day, UPS Second Day, UPS Third Day Select or Federal Express.
JAX Silver Blackener and JAX Silver Cleaner are classified as hazardous by UPS. The UPS hazardous material charge is $28.50 per package. Hazardous packages can contain up to 4 gallons or 24 pints of Jax products. Hazardous materials will only be shipped by UPS Ground Service.
DAMAGED or OPEN PACKAGES
Should a package arrive damaged or open, you must inform the driver and contact UPS or the appropriate carrier. Inspect the package with the UPS representative and remove any items that are undamaged. If the items delivered in an open box are undamaged and the order is complete, there is no need to return the package. If the order is incomplete or there is damage, UPS will return the package to Metalliferous. Remember to save EVERYTHING (including the shipping materials) so that we can determine what needs to be reshipped.
Notify us within 48 hours of receipt of your shipment if your order arrives incomplete. Metalliferous makes every effort to ship complete orders; however, if you should receive an incomplete order: 1. Contact us. 2. Have the invoice number, item number and description of the missing item(s)ready before you call. A Metalliferous representative will check shipping records and attempt to resolve the discrepancy as quickly as possible.
Merchandise must be returned to us within ten (10) days of receipt, in resalable condition, insured for full value, and shipped pre-paid along with a copy of your sales slip/invoice. Packages returned C.O.D. will not be accepted. Custom orders are not returnable. Before returning any items, contact us at (888) 944-0909; we will give you a Return Authorization Number. This number MUST accompany the returned item(s) and be written on the outside of the box (ATTENTION: Returns Dept.). Upon receipt of the undamaged, unaltered merchandise, we will issue a credit or a refund for the value of the merchandise (less a 10% restocking fee); shipping charges are non-refundable and do not count towards credit. Metalliferous reserves the right to determine whether any goods have been altered or damaged. Credit will be issued only upon our examination of the returned items.
Metalliferous makes every effort to keep the items in our catalog in stock. However, due to unforeseen events, certain items may occasionally be out-of-stock. If any item on your order is unavailable, Metalliferous will place the item(s) on back order. Should you not want the items placed on back order, please check the appropriate box on the order form or inform the sales representative when you place your order. Please note that back ordered items will incur a shipping charge at the time of shipment.
