*** Martha Stewart Show - July 27, 2007 ***
UPDATE AUGUST 2, 2007 Well, you did it! You bought us out of all of the SMALL lockets that Martha used on the show. Congratulations!
But all is not lost... We have lots of the LARGEST lockets in both gold-tone and silver-tone (see picture below - the ones on the left).
Plus there's LOTS of other stuff. We encourage you to spend some time going through our catalogs (see the SILVER and BASE METAL links from the home page) to see what else you and your creative mind can conjure up.
And, actually, if you're anywhere near the New York City area, you are invited into our showroom at 34 West 46th Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues). In addition to the thousands of items we show in our catalogs, we have thousands more that we could never catalog because of their non-stock, odd-lot, close-out nature. Really. Come by. Bring lunch and spend the day.
In addition to the metal products we stock, we also have two rooms full of beads. (Also not yet catalogued... sorry.) Stones, crystals, horn, bone, even some wood. So, come on - visit!!!
Posted 9:35 am -- Martha was nice enough to use some of our brass lockets on her show today. We always appreciate that.
However, she was using something we call a "non-stock" item. That means that these are pieces that are NOT in our catalog and they are NOT always available.
These are items that are best purchased when in Metalliferous so you can see and feel each item and see what they cost. Now, they are all reasonably priced, ranging from $0.50 up to $2.00 each, BUT we do not have photographs and known quantities of the lockets so it is hard to sell them via mail-order.
In an effort to help our customers buy some of these pretty pieces, we will make available a sort of "grab-bag" of lockets through our mail order department. Please be patient with us as we were unaware that the show would air today. We will do our best to get information published about this within a day or two.
Thanks for your understanding - we WILL make some of these available immediately.
Posted 1:05 pm -- Here are the hollow-front base metal lockets. Most are plated with some form of imitation silver and imitation gold, but the smallest one is raw brass (that is: it can be polished).
We will be offering these as grab-bag sets - probably one each of the large ones and two each of the smaller ones for $10. We normally have a $25 mail-order minimum, but we will waive it for fans of Martha. (Future orders will be subject to the minimum.) If interested, just call our Mail Order Dept. at 888-944-0909 and ask for the Martha Locket Grab-bag.
If you also want some charms, chain, clasps, and jump rings to complete your new piece of art, please go to our Base Metal Catalog and access pages 57 (brass chain), 56 (clasps, jump rings, etc.), and 62-66 (brass charms/stampings). [NOTE: these links take you to break-out page packs of the complete Base Metal Catalog, not directly to the pages noted above. Just scroll through till you find the items you seek.]
Because this is an older version of our catalog, some prices may no longer be valid and some items may be discontinued. (Just thought you should know...)
